Country legend Willie Nelson is best known for his timeless classics, “On the Road Again”, “You Were Always On My Mind”, and, among others, “Mammas, Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys”. But, throughout his 81 years, Nelson has also been an essential supporter of his country, often performing at fundraising concerts, and raising awareness over pivotal issues.

What you’ll find in this video — a slideshow to Nelson’s rendition of “America the Beautiful” — is a merging of those two ideas. The result? A peaceful tune that just may enhance the pride we already feel for our country.
