Now THAT’S What I Call A Pre-Game Speech! Go America!

This video will bring you to your feet. This coach is teaching his young athletes about real life. He's introducing them to men and women who are real heroes, those who have earned the honor and the respect due to them, those who have set their lives aside to serve and to risk their lives for the good of others.

This may be the first time in these young athletes' lives where they have been challenged, forced to see that what they do is just a game. They are being introduced to ideas they may not have considered so deeply before. They are being taught to think about things and people who will never be known beyond the small circles of their families and friends, who will never be lionized and fawned over because of their skills on the hardwood, who will not have lengthy columns written about them in the papers, but who have sacrificed and done things for this nation that deserve real honor and respect…

We here at the Veterans Site want to say thanks to this coach for his love of country, of those who serve, and of the young men who play for him.
