The most famous and ongoing tributes to our veterans has to be the Changing of the Guard. If you haven’t seen it live, it should be on your “to do” list. Below is a video of the Tomb Guard to watch, so you can honor our fallen veterans today.

The Tomb of the Unknowns — also known as the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier — is guarded 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and in any weather by Tomb Guard sentinels. Sentinels, all volunteers, are considered to be the best of the elite 3rd U.S. Infantry (The Old Guard), headquartered at Fort Myer, Virginia.

The Tomb of the Unknowns is located at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C. The Changing of the Guards is something that people from around the country, and in fact from all around the world, come to see on a daily basis because of the mixture of reverence and precision in the movements and conduct of the Tomb Guard.

For anyone who has yet to visit the Tomb of the Unknowns, dedicated to those lost in battle without identification, watch the video below of the Changing of the Guard.
