Brawny Was Looking For Someone Who Is “Tough to the Core”. This Army Veteran Was a Good Choice.

As part of their “Tough to the Core” project, Brawny Towels selected heroes to tell their inspirational stories. And we can’t think of anyone better to tell their story than U.S. Army veteran Roberto Cruz.

Cruz spent 8 1/2 months in Iraq before getting injured — an injury that not only left him in a coma for approximately one week, but one that drove doctors to predict that Cruz would never walk again. It was a diagnosis Cruz knew he couldn’t accept.

This video allows you to see how far he dug to overcome his diagnosis, and to understand just what drove him to do so.

We are very proud of you Roberto. You didn’t give us, you didn’t surrender. You fought hard to get back where you were and you did it. You are an inspiration to everyone in America!
