Back in July 2014, Kacy Catanzaro shocked the American Ninja Warrior viewing audience and became the first woman to qualify for Mt. Midoriyama!

At just 5 feet tall and 100 pounds, Kacy had a severe disadvantage for certain aspects of the course, but the challenge was no match for Mighty Kacy!

Kacy is no stranger to strenuous activities and pushing herself beyond her limits. She began doing gymnastics at 5-years-old and trained so well at it that she earned an athletic scholarship to Towson University in Towson, Maryland. From 2009 until 2012, Kacy competed in gymnastics at the NCAA Div. I level.

In 2012, she was named the Southeast Regional Gymnast of the Year and the Eastern College Athletic Conference Gymnast of the Year. When she decided to take on the course of American Ninja Warrior, she put her heart and soul into beating the course and it shows.

Watch as she dominates this challenging obstacle course below!
