Soldier Recounts Experience of Ejection at Supersonic Speed

VET_Blog_DTOP_BelowTitle_300x250

When a combat training exercise over the Atlantic went wrong, Air Force Captain Brian Udell had to eject out of his F-15 at supersonic speeds. The impact from the wind forces killed his weapons systems officer Captain Dennis White, and Udell barely made it to the water alive. With just one functional limb and wounds all over his body, Udell somehow survived the freezing waters of the Atlantic in a life raft until the Coast Guard rescued him. Watch him talk about his ordeal in this incredible video.

Sacrifices like those of White, Udell and other veterans have played a part in making America the country it is today. Sign this petition that asks the Department of Veterans Affairs to give priority to small businesses run by veterans.
