Dancing Cop Gets the Party Going at a High School Game

Cops and teenagers rarely have a good time together. Usually, when the two are together, it is because those noisy teens have caused enough problems and those in law enforcement have to come out and get the teens to knock it off. When cops turn up at a party, it usually means it’s time to go home.

But Deputy Sheriff Jim Kennedy with the Union County Sheriff’s Office in North Carolina knows how to get a party started.

At halftime during a basketball game between Sun Valley High School and Cuthbertson High School, Kennedy walked to the center of the court and started moving to the beat. Like the saying goes: “Dance Like No One is Watching You” and Deputy Sheriff Kennedy does exactly that.

Seeing his enthusiasm, others joined him and the party was underway. Makes you want to start your own dance party, doesn’t it?
