Boston Bombing Victim Posts Courageous Letter to Tsarnaev on Facebook

Rebekah Gregory DiMartino, who lost her leg following the Boston Marathon bombing, has long been one of its most inspiring survivors.

On March 4, 2014, after testifying in court against bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, Rebekah took to Facebook to post an open letter to Tsarnaev, saying she’s no longer afraid of the man who once gave her nightmares.

“This afternoon, I got to walk into a courtroom and take my place at the witness stand… I looked at you right in the face… and realized I wasn’t afraid anymore,” she said.
