Never In a Million Years Could I Pull This Off — The Blue Angels Have Some Serious Skill

Formed in 1946 and performing for crowds of all kinds ever since, the Blue Angels is The United States Navy’s flight demonstration squad. Many of us have had the pleasure of watching them perform at local air shows from our comfy seats on the ground. Only a few have been up in the air with them. Their mission:

To showcase the pride and professionalism of the United States Navy and Marine Corps by inspiring a culture of excellence and service to country through flight demonstrations and community outreach.

What you’ll find in this video is just a glimpse of that — nineteen seconds worth, to be exact. But it’s a beautifully exhilarating nineteen seconds spent smack dab in the middle of the Blue Angels’ coveted diamond formation. Hang on tight and the only thing left to be said is: are you strapped in?
